Peanut Butter Pumpkin Puppercake: This one is for the Doggos
May 19th is Happy “Gotcha” Day to our sweet pupper Coco! We adopted this sweet girl from the Stephen’s County Humane Society the May that we moved into our new home, to say she completed our home is an understament...this girl is the cuddle bug that we were missing.
We are definitely those kinds dog people that decided to throw a “Pawty” complete with homemade Peanut Butter Pumpkin Puppercake. If you want to join our puppy baking co, here’s what you do. Mix 1 egg, 2T Peter Pan Peanut Butter, 2T oil, 1/2 C pumpkin purée, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 C wheat flour... mix well and bake in a small, well greased baking pan at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool. Then I used a small biscuit cutter to make two layers, frosted with a thin layer of peanut butter and piped the top and bottom edges. Complete with a few sprinkles and candles! (No worries... we didn’t overdo it and our Coco only got a few bites of cake as a small treat, we just wanted her to feel extra special). #adoptdontshop #coco #boysbestfriend #stephenscountyhumanesociety
