My name is Jena Good,.. I go by many names but you can call me The Grocery Gal. I am a third generation grocer in Southwest Oklahoma. You can find me running around the aisles of our stores, Shelton’s Grocery in Waurika, Oklahoma, and Walters Hometown Grocery in Walters, Oklahoma.

My favorite name by far is Mama. I am a single mama of an 8-year-old, rambunctious little boy named Drew who is “growing up grocery” just like I did. When I’m not chasing Drew around baseball diamonds, basketball courts and football fields, we can be found snuggling up to our rescue pup Coco and enjoying a good movie night.

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!) in 2011 before coming back home to work in our family business. I’m excited to combine my creative passion and career with this blog. Having grown up in small town rural Oklahoma, I know how much these little communities have to offer, and I can’t wait to share that with you!
